Senior officers of Crime Branch, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told HT on Sunday that the laptop could not be sent for forensic analysis of earlier on account of holiday weekend Lab staff.
The Laptop has been taken for grandparent's house search at Jigna's Ghatkopar a day after being arrested. Crime Branch officers said the request would be made to speed up procedures to keep in mind the urgency of the situation. The officer said the forensic laboratory will specifically says to take the article/report Jigna has contributed and that he had sent an email in 5-6 months.
This is in the background of the Crime Branch claims that he had emailed several articles written by Dey Chhota Rajan, which allegedly infuriated don like they show him in a poor light.
