Android developers have released version 4.0 of Sandwich ice cream that is compatible with "x 86" chips. So, Android can run on the chip by Intel and AMD, are found in most personal computers, netbooks and laptops to the desktop of the tower.

reminds us that the search giant promised back in September that all future versions of the Android will be friendly to Intel chips (and AMD).

It makes sense, given the fact that there is an Android Tablet that has a typical laptop's power, and in terms of basic use, the OS can easily compete with Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS. Power users would probably steer clear, or it will keep the Android version available for times when the battery is more important than functionality. So, assuming a better battery.

Also makes sense because it fit in with what Microsoft is doing, which is the opposite. At the end of 2012, Windows 8 will start in two flavors, running on x 86 Intel and AMD chips, like the previous version of Windows, and others that are running on ARM-based chips found in tablet and phone devices that are currently running Android and Apple's iOS.
